Hey koool rockin kats, we found them here on the rockin review, the lost king that is...

And a good find it is, this stunning group from Chile are rockin it up well, the band consisting of....

Eduardo on koool raw rockin vocals

Claudio “Pollo” Calderon with his wild fingers on Lead Guitar

Rodrigo “Peje” Sanchez giving it a slapping on the Upright Bass

Banging away with the pulse, Diaz on Drums

These lost and now found on here have been bringing the rockin tunes to life with more than a staggering 20 years of experience n wild talent n rhythmic attributes between them, giving the nation their fuel on full on rockabilly. But let’s not just take it from me krazy cats let’s check them out.

Baby, please come home,

We have a drumstick clack count in with a pre hi hay couple solo beats introducing the twangin guitar or chord pattern. And the drum on a classic rockabilly boppin rhythm, a strong bass line keeping it together and a vibrant deep vocal directly on key, with natural sounding echo, a fab guitar break solo and a good few drum bridge rolls, bringing the band together as in backing vocals harmonizing, to a then a section of vocals repeated the title, good, emphasised skill accompaniment on the band clapping,

I Wanna Dance

Sure, do and you kats will want to like mad. A strong start of guitar riff on strings with a kind of slight tremolo sound bringing in the skins, jumpy Jivin snare and vocal in on a higher pitch note and double effect of Slap in that Bass. (Hehe scouse me get it off my chest)

Again.... little drum rolls to finish each bar and slight cymbal, to a wicked finger technique of a guitar solo, think he might been takin hints off the Haley and Feather tricks, A sharp fade out track

Only cat

Great start, jazzy guitar start with the skins, and koool flowing bass joining with perfect harmony on vocals, letting you know, it’s only the cat, if only all cats were this koool. fantastic rhythmic extended guitar solo again of Comets, Jodimars style to say the least. lovely use of snare and cymbal and bringing together again toward the end, harmony and repeat at the end with quick fade out.

Real Wild Child

These guys have now found and not so lost favourite with a stoking more rocked up version of this classic, revved up guitar grinding intro bass and drum after couple bars, a cymbal crash to bring raw guitar solo, to revert to the track with its silent single beat to knock out next section, a heavy bouncing bass line and a finish of thrice struck chords,

Rebel Shoe

yea we got few pair of them, thunderous chord guitar intro, drumstick clacks away, great stable drum and slapping bass pace and feel, vocals in line with the instruments, into an electric solo, a crash back to the track and a crashing drum roll guitar scale and climbing vox to finish it off

RIP IT UP

We’ve had our comet fixes now hold on, it’s time for an Elvis, among others, so kats n kittens lets, “RIP IT UP” The classic double beat of the clacking drum for the intro briefly. we know how it starts n goes, a super rendition on the early king’s version, paying homage to the sound on all levels, the drum pattern, the escalating bass, the twanging echo guitar, if Elvis were still about this is with a lower voice key, prob how it would sound,

Rock n roll for life.

Another jumpin twangy guitar intro fitted with drums on single beat tap, and double twangy strings, very harmonized, Kool calm slappy bass and a Gene Vincent or Charlie feathers beat, carrying the mid paced swinging number,  finger click strolling vocals, suave,

All shook up

And so to finish up on this snazzy little (big) rocker, Another legend, but not as covered at all, you will be by the end, that is all shook up, acoustic possibilities start guitar on this slinging away, 2nd beated claps keeping the rhythm, guitar strings for the uhh  uhh section of the song. A great take on this classic Elvis with the Jordanaires. acoustic, what an amazing fab sound it has

Well well  uhu, not me usual saying at all but thank you , you been wonderful, Is what you’ll be saying after watching them and getting there album,

Summary

It’s a fantastic piece of work, between writing and classic takes, this does pay tribute with a bit of something for anybody.  even if only slightly liking rockabilly or enthusiastic lover of the genre, very happy to have this In my collection, with its raucous side to calmer stroller side and its own touches to their work, its sure to be played on club dance floor and radios alike. you’ll be up a boppin n a Jivin n Strollin...
