Big Ol Alligator was produced by Jamie Hoover, and It was written by Glenn Erb and Richard Rossi. The performers on this single were Jamie and Glenn Erb, The band line up has the Rockin magic of the producers, Ya got Jamie, the one with that terrific standup bass, slapping and the on the vox, and Mr Glenn Erb with guitar picking. Glenn n Richard collaborated on the words on this one, where Richard is usually the Rockin writing man. As an added bit of bonus n fun trivia...the wild crazy pair got the idea for this kicking track, while drifting in a swimming pool and looking at the beautiful women and thinking if he was a big ole alligator ...!!! Haha...what a yummy snack. It grew from there.... nice imagination bud.

And..well a little info about Glenn to top it off, he’s from Louisville Kentucky, moved to North Carolina and currently lives very close to the coast where they have plenty of gators. Snappy snazzy fellas and has played in bands as a teen and gave them up to keep a job and raise a family. ...what a decent practical priority lad...glad he got back to the toons Aswell...he’s been playing around North Carolina and Kentucky for a long darn time now.

“After retiring  I took a class called recording and production. The teacher is a fellow named Jamie Hoover. He has played with the Smithereens, Hootie and the blowfish, many notable acts but he is most famous for playing guitar for a group called The Spongetones for over 40 years plus running a brick-and-mortar studio for the same amount of time. He is the resident genius. Richard Rossie is a freelance columnist for several internet radio stations and sites. He has worked with Jamie, Dave Nachmanoff (producer and guitarist for Al Stewart), John Wicks (RIP) and me for several years. He is an expert on old movies aswell, so some really talented fellow rockin chaps about...nice to have added talent, always good.” The cover for this unique number in a full faced image of himself with his cowboy western hat an koool n crazy celestial glasses, lookin a bit reddy for the world...

Sooo , now for a cupl Rockin sounds...

Big ole Alligator.

So, a sharp snare quick drum roll, joined near on straight away a wailing roaring guitar riffing with the on goin banging constant snare, then joined by the direct vox of Glenn, although calmly sang with power, the levels of each aspect of instrument give this stomping jumpin dancer A very raspy feelin...

With its added few twangy brakes on the strings, semi sound like ya got raw electric banjo blues strings been pulled in, and power crashing drums including sounding like few rim shots n cymbal rhythmic whacking, it will SUUURRLLY HAVE U UP MOVIN along the floor, house, club, road. Or wherever ya is at the time...Jivin fast or boppin mad, for some now even possible strolling like sprint to the finish line...kinda like your runnin from the alligator before it snap ya up...

Ooowww...yea!!  So much jumpin you’ll wind yaself.. like the endin...

Summery

Now then, time for its sum up...what can we say...a lot really, it’s full on ness on rockabilly country billy maybe some may say elements nearing psychobilly!!! An rockabilly garage psychosis...any 1 with the extra energy to get up with this...I sure would, an a few select venues/djs to play, I think hasil Adkins would be a bit proud of this Aswell....a morphed sound an feelin of ole, new and in between rockabilly...

Keep ya ear out for this 1...an more...

Bio

With a lifetime of stories and songs in his back pocket,

Glenn figured it was high time he share them. You hold

the results in your hand. With the help of veteran

producer Jamie Hoover, these eleven tracks are the

culmination of many years of hard work and a few

breaks - lucky and otherwise - along the way.
