This 7-inch EP features four pieces of rockabilly-psychobilly, garage rock and swing by bandleader, guitarist and singer Bobby Gonzales and his companions from Mieres, Asturias, Spain. All tracks are self-penned by Bobby himself. So, let’s review track by track:

Since You’ve Been Gone – So we kick off with this cracker which has a very distinctive western style guitar riff running through it. Add this it has a driving tempo with a cliff hanger finish.

Devils Son- Instrumental start stupendous to a Munster style theme and a tremendous beat, some awesome guitar licks and the feel of dark evil spirits accompany this track which will leave you breathless.

Hablemos Claro- Sung in Spanish and translates  “Let’s talk straight” another lively number full of energy.

Racing The Dark- Racing car engine starts up and shifts off then the magic of Bobby’s guitar enhances us to race in the dark to this instrumental tune that pushes the speed limits.

To summarise thoroughly enjoyed listening to this EP has character along with a varied content. Plenty to take in here certainly worth a listen, its fast-moving gyrating in your face pure class.

A few words form Bobby:

Those who have had the opportunity to see Bobby Gonzales Trio live, will have noticed the power, energy and versatility of their powerful live performance.

Bobby Gonzales, leader, vocalist and guitarist of the band, reviews his musical career with bands such as Coronados and Trash-Tornados, making sparks come out of his Gretsch and his Fender amp and delighting all those who want to see this six-string virtuoso and one of the standard-bearers of rockabilly-psychobilly-swing

still active. If it is the first time he visits you, you should not miss the opportunity to see him live accompanied by a rhythm section of heart attack with Pibli González on drums and Pablo Souto on double bass…

Bobby rocks!!
