Track by track Review:
Buckle Up Baby- Unique intro, that leads into a song giving it traits of the British Rock n Roll sound of the fifties with an awesome sax, smooth guitar playing and the backing clapping and vocals.
Knock Knock Gin O’Clock- Another one of those old school Rock n Roll sounds blends into this production. Certainly, one for the energetic dancers with a Gin to wash it down after. Musically its played tight with a variety of instrumental accompaniment.
Struck By Lightning- Cool beat to this one sure hit with the dancing fraternity, neat instrumental break and strong lyrics complete the arrangement.
Hot Diggity Damn- Awesome drum & sax breaks with guitar & bass accompaniment make up this number with an air of playing in a smoke-filled club and traits of the Haley era combined with the big band sound.
Mambo Jambo- Another lively number with an alternating tempo which differentiates from the rest and has you on your toes changing beats good end song.
To Summarize five well written and produced tracks that have their own meanings for the band as well as the audience. Certainly, one for the clubs and the folk that appreciate cool tunes.

Band Bio & CD launch: The ‘Daddies’ earned their spurs in groups like The Rumble Cats, The Massapequa Outlaws, Tequila W****rs and The Prodigal Sons. They shared the stage with The Paladins, did support acts for bands as The Stray Cats and the Fabulous Thunderbirds and accompanied Scotty Moore and Sleepy La Beef, to name but a few. They jumped stages at national and international festivals in Poland, England, Germany, Belgium and France.
Their Garage Swing style is inspired by great musicians like Big Joe Turner, T-Bone Walker, Wynona Harris, H-Bomb Ferguson, Big John Greer and Bull Moose Jackson: honking saxes, awesome shuffle beats, honkytonk piano, pumping double bass and a mean archtop guitar.
Roy P-Cat will be performing at the Blues at Moonlight festival in Benalmadena Malaga Spain on November 23rd and of course we will be playing the songs from our new CD.
The reactions to our new CD are incredibly overwhelming and very positive so if someone is looking for a danceable live band, don't hesitate and book us anywhere in the world. Roy P-Cat and the V8 Daddies are all set to roll.
