Big Time is a self-penned EP from the Polish quartet band The Breslauers who reside in Wroclaw. They acclaim their influences on rockabilly/surf rock/jazz and punk which flows through in these forthcoming tracks.
Members of the Band:
Vocal: Karrissa Hultgren
Upright Bass / Bass : Ali Bozkurt
Drums: Chaitanya Gosavi
Guitar: Mateusz Kowalczyk
Track by track Review:
Big Time- To a backdrop of some powerful caressing instrumental guitar sounds, Karrissa tells us the story of a quest for the “Big Time” through the lyrics to a rather jazzed up bouncy affair that resonates to a more modern mellow sound.
Real Man- Plenty of reverb on the guitar intro that plays into Karissa’s deep raunchy vocals on this more of a slow tempo number that picks up in places but maintains her deep voiced sound.
Satisfaction- The last track is a pounder full of energy that reflects on their punk style influences, for me it’s a bit to short but has quality in its high-octane sound that drives along to the beat.
To Summarise nice quality production on these tracks with some outstanding musical adaptions adopted by the band, all three tracks give a cross section of the band’s influences. Looking forward to further material from these guys they certainly have the right attitude to play it as it sounds.

Band Bio:
From the alley of neon signs, in the hearth of Wroclaw, The Breslauers brings you back with a rockabilly sound! With their pin-upped hair, vintage threads, and a sound straight out of the '50s, this quartet brings the raw energy and rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll to the modern age.
At the forefront is Karissa, a charismatic frontman whose harsh vocals and fiery kazoo licks command attention from the first note. Her bandmate, Ali, lays down the thunderous rhythm on the upright bass, driving the music forward with relentless groove. And keeping the beat is Chaitanya, "The Animal", whose lightning-fast drumming and infectious energy set the stage ablaze with every performance. At last Mateusz, with his guitar and overweighted amp, will strike right into the face with his 12-bar blues.
The Breslauers' music is a high-octane fusion of rockabilly, surf rock, jazz, and punk embedded into original compositions, infused with a modern edge that keeps audiences on their feet. From the twangy guitar riff of "Blue Suede Shoes" to the mellow reverbs of "Big Time," their repertoire pays homage to the legends of the past while blazing a trail of their own.
