Track by track Review:

Whisky In My Bones- Very catchy guitar riff starts us off and plays throughout on this high-octane driving track with a blues base and a wild wild rockabilly sound played with relentless force.

Shadows On My Trail- Some neat harmonica sounds from Pepe Badrriles add to this mid-tempo number with an awesome guitar break midway, it’s a gutsy affair with a bouncy beat.

So, Summarising another two enjoyable tracks from this band never fail to please in producing creditable material to listen to. I heard on good authority they are awesome live to.

Band Bio:

Howlin' Ramblers was born in 2016 and since then this Andalusian quintet has forged its own sound that drinks from the crudest rockabilly, the most primitive blues and the most heartfelt country. Their proposal has been defined as a powerful and wild "Rockabilly-Stomp & Rockin' Blues-Bop", with deep roots and an overwhelming energy.

Her first album, Home of the Blues (2018), self-released and recorded live, marked the beginning of a solid recording career. From then on, Sleazy Records —one of the most emblematic labels of the European rockin' circuit— took over to release their following works:

🎶 Men With Broken Hearts

🎶 the singles I'm a Hobo (2020) and Roots (2021)

🎶 the double live CD/DVD Moanin' at Midnight (2022), which includes a concert recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic

🎶 and the album Drunken Hearted Man (2023), with art by the legendary Vince Ray.

In October 2024 they release their long-awaited new album: SHAKE IT AROUND!, ten original songs that condense the band's most inspired and forceful moment to date.

And now, in the middle of summer 2025, they are back with a new 7" single, straight from the heart of the desert to the groove of your turntable:  Whiskey in My Bones (Side A)  Shadows on My Trail (Side B)

Recorded at LaJaula (Almería), produced by Pike Cavalero, with Maxi Ruiz Bandera al Hammond and cover design by Alicia Afanador. Pressed by Sleazy Records on glorious 45 RPM black vinyl.

A cocktail of raw rockabilly and dusty blues, ideal for hot nights, lost roads and wandering souls.

Howlin' Ramblers have toured a good part of the peninsula, participating in reference festivals such as Rockin' Race Jamboree, High Rockabilly, Screamin' Festival, CalaPop, Alligator Rockin' and many more. He has also taken his music internationally, performing at festivals in France, Belgium, Finland, Portugal and the United Kingdom, including prominent events such as Wildest Cats in Town (UK) and Rocking Rebels (Eindhoven, Netherlands).

They have shared the stage with figures such as Graham Fenton, Bill Haley Jr., Sandy Ford, Al Dual, Darrel Higham, among other big names on the scene.

Currently in the middle of promoting their new single, Howlin' Ramblers continue to kick stages with the same force as always.

No filters, no traps or cardboard. Just real rock and roll.

And stay tuned, because in 2026 they celebrate their 10th anniversary, and they are preparing something very special to commemorate it in style...
